Computational resources for membrane proteins

This a 3 day course/workshop at UTH targeted to postgraduate level (or advanced undergraduate) biology or cs students. Topics will include

  • Introduction to protein sequence analysis- databases and sequence alignment (Friday 13/12/2019: 16.00 -20.00)
  • Topology prediction for alpha-helical membrane proteins (Saturday 14/12/2019: 10.00 -14.00)
  • Topology prediction of bacterial beta-barrel outer membrane proteins (Saturday 14/12/2019: 15.00 -19.00)
  • Specialized databases for membrane proteins (Sunday15/12/2019: 11.00 -15.00)
The workshop will take place at the School of Sciences, University of Thessaly, Lamia, on December 13-15/2019.
