Computational resources for membrane proteins

This a 3 day course/workshop at UTH targeted to postgraduate level (or advanced undergraduate) biology or cs students. Topics will include

  • Introduction to membrane proteins structure and function (4 hours)
  • Specialized databases for membrane proteins (4 hours)
  • Topology prediction for alpha-helical membrane proteins (4 hours)
  • Topology prediction of bacterial beta-barrel outer membrane proteins (4 hours)
  • Computational resources for G-protein Coupled Receptors (GPCRs) (4 hours)
