EFITA’s Young Researchers Winter School on EUROPEAN PROJECTS: Dissemination of Results and ICT Innovations & FUZZY INFERENCE SYSTEMS & NEURAL NETWORKS: From Theory to Applications in Agriculture, Forestry and the Environment

The objectives of the current Young Researchers Winter School (YRWS) are: to disseminate European Projects results and innovations to Young researchers and also to provide training and collaboration opportunities for young researchers working on Fuzzy Inference Systems and Neural Networks Applications of agricultural, forestry and environmental interest. Therefore, EFITA is inviting PhD students, advanced MPhil., MA and MSc students as well as young researchers and practitioners with a demonstrated interest in related issues, to participate. Moreover, keynote lectures will present related overviews on European Union programmes and opportunities for cooperation. The European Projects results and ICT innovations will be presented by representatives of the corresponding working groups. The advanced course on Fuzzy Inference Systems & Neural Networks: From theory to applications in Agriculture, Forestry and the Environment is organized by Assoc. Professor L. Iliadis and will include relevant applications as well as an educational module. The main goals of the school are: • To give participants the opportunity to gain valuable experience, consultancy and future directions for their research. • To identify groups of researchers working in similar areas and having common research interests. • To promote future collaborations for research and development of EU projects. • To disseminate European projects results.
